Our Story
JMR Wood was born from a simple idea: everyday pieces deserve the same care and attention as heirlooms. What started as a small workshop experiment specializing in turning rough boards into gifts for friends and family and slowly grew into a dedicated business focused on thoughtful, hand-crafted woodwork.

Today, JMR Wood creates small-batch cutting boards, charcuterie and grazing boards designed to be used, not just displayed. Each board is carefully selected for grain and character, shaped and sanded by hand, and finished with food-safe oils and waxes so it can stand up to real kitchens, busy families, and long evenings around the table.
